Prince Harry Loves Being An Uncle

LONDON, U.K. --

Prince Harry visits The Royal Marines Tamar on August 2, 2013 in Devonport, EnglandCaptionPrince Harry says he loves being an uncle, telling children at an awards ceremony that he’d just witnessed the baby who may one day be king crack a smile.
Harry, who was pushed back to fourth-in-line to the British throne following the birth of his brother’s son, Prince George, said Wednesday he’d just visited the 1.5-month-old royal, who was taking a bath.
Harry told 9-year-old Nikki Christou that it was the “first time I’ve seen him smile.” The prince seems to have warmed to his new family role, telling Mary Kirk, the mother of another child, that being an uncle was “fantastic.”
The ceremony was hosted by the WellChild charity, which is dedicated to the needs of sick children and their families.

Paula Abdul: Simon Cowell Will Not Change Diapers!

LOS ANGELES, CALIF. -- Paula Abdul, Simon CowellCaptionPaula Abdul doesn’t think her former “American Idol” co-judge Simon Cowell will be up for getting his hands dirty when it comes to diaper duty for his soon-to-arrive baby.
Access Hollywood caught up with Paula at the “So You Can Think You Can Dance” finale on Tuesday, where we asked how much she’d pay to watch the blunt Brit change a dirty diaper.
“I have to think about that because I don’t think it will happen,” Paula – who guest judged the “SYTYCD” finale – said. “So you have to put a hefty price tag on that!”
Adding, “He ain’t gonna do it no matter how much money. He won’t.”
Will Paula be the baby’s godmother?
“It wouldn’t be playing godmother to the son – [Simon’s] the one who needs to be taken care of!” she joked. “The son’s gonna be fine. [Simon] needs the diaper changes.”
Despite the ribbing, Paula does think the “X Factor” boss will be a good dad.
“[He’ll be] fantastic,” she said.

Flawless Beyoncé flaunts her incredible bikini body and goes make-up free in intimate holiday snaps

Beyoncé was glowing on her recent getaway to the Mediterranean. The superstar singer shared a stunning photograph on Instagram this week that shows her make-up free and looking incredible.

With her blonde tousled bob falling around her face, Beyoncé is utterly flawless in the close-up snap. It appears to have been taken on her recent break to the Italian coast, where the singer celebrated her 32nd birthday with husband Jay Z and daughter Blue Ivy.

The Halo songstress also posted a picture of her posing in a green bikini, standing on the edge of the couple’s private yacht.

The vintage-style two-piece, which features a halter top and high-waisted ruched bottoms, showcases the mum-of-one’s enviable curves as she soaks up the sun.

The famous family spent several days cruising around the islands of Italy in celebration of Beyonce's birthday.

During that time, they were seen enjoying time together on the Sorrento Coast, and husband and wife also found some time together, venturing out on a small boat near the island of Capri.

They reportedly visited the famous Blue Grotto – a sea cave where trapped sunlight illuminates the entire cavern with a blue hue.

The mum-of-one is back at work now, continuing on with her hugely successful world tour. Beyoncé kicked off the Latin America leg of The Mrs Carter Show in Brazil on Sunday – and said that taking Blue Ivy on the road with her, has made the experience all the more special.

At a press conference before her show in Fortaleza, she told reporters, "It's really interesting because I’m touring with my daughter for the first time and my dream has always been to be able to balance my life and my career.

"I think that's the one thing that women struggle with because it's so difficult.

"It makes me proud of my job. It makes me proud that music can impact so many people and bring us together."

The star also said that she loves Brazil so much, she still felt like she was on holiday.

"It's one of my favourite places in the world," she said. "I've never met so many people with so much passion and I am so excited to be here. It doesn’t feel like I'm working, it feels like a vacation."

Jessica Biel legally takes husband Justin Timberlake's surname

Jessica Biel has officially taken her singer husband Justin Timberlake's surname.

The lovebirds married eleven months ago in a lavish wedding that was covered by HELLO! Magazine, but it has only just emerged that the Total Recall actress has legally changed her name.

"It's all official," an insider told Life & Style. "The paperwork is done and she's now legally Jessica Timberlake."

The Hollywood star will keep her maiden name for professional purposes.

"It's funny. It feels like nothing's changed and yet everything's changed," said Jessica, speaking as a newlywed. "It's kind of that intangible thing you can't quite put your finger on."

"But I like the idea of having a partner in crime. I guess the word 'husband' is pretty amazing. It's so fun to say, 'This is my husband!'"

Justin, 32, and Jessica, 31, tied the knot in a magnificent wedding in Puglia, Italy. On their special day, the Suit & Tie singer presented his bride with a unique gift — a song Justin had written especially for her, which he performed at the ceremony.

"I figured if there was something I was going to be able to offer, it would be to sing her down the aisle," said Justin, speaking to HELLO! Magazine.

"Grown men were weeping. Hopefully it's because I didn't sound bad."

Justin added that the moment after the couple exchanged vows was one of the most memorable highlights of the day.

"To hear all of our family and friends cheering at extremely loud, inappropriate decibel levels, that became the pinnacle of the ceremony," he said.

"It felt perfect. It felt like everything came together."

The Hollywood sweethearts had been dating since 2007, and after a brief split in 2011, the couple got back together and Justin proposed while on holiday in December of that year.

We are Back and Better – X-Project

At a time in the music industry where people were yearning for Hip hop songs of Nigerian content, X-Project came out bustling with the hit song, Lo rile in 2008 and the song was on the air waves for a long period. X-Project later faded off the music scene but are now back and stronger with a new video titled Azuka. The men behind the group are Sierra Leoneans and they came to Nigeria as refugees turning their disappointment into a blessing with the gift of music. SAAL (Sallieu Sindi) and SLEZ (Aziz Kamara) spoke to SAMUEL ABULUDE on their music, female fans and their lifestyles
Our Rebirth
Yes, rebirth, I think that’s the right word. We are a rebranded X-Project. We have been working, doing shows outside Nigeria, making music with producers. So, we are back with our new album which is yet to be released and a video of a single which should be out any time from now and then, the album would follow later. It is a nice video. Had it been you have set eyes on that video, you would know what I’m talking about. It’s titled Azuka, a very strong video directed by Clarence Peters.
For the singles in the album, we recorded like 35 songs but we will be selecting either 13 or 15 songs. For Azuka, it’s just a single and we worked with Chris Okoro, Ubi Track, Cacium, OJB Jezreel and Silverstone. We also worked with TY Mix and a couple of producers.
We have released three singles, ‘Azuka’, ‘What’s your flavor’ featuring Olamide, ‘He lied’ featuring Pokaface but Azuka is the one we decided to shoot the video. Azuka has an afro beat pattern and a unique video. We used European garage so you should be expecting something different. We used Nigerian pidgin and a beat of English then the chorus was in Igbo. It’s a great song and we know our fans will love it.
Now, X-Project is a new package coming out with 13 or 15 songs in our upcoming album. We just want the best out of X-project that’s why we recorded enough songs. After Azuka, there is going to be another single, so that people will see more of X-project. Music lovers should watch out for the rebranded X-Project.
X-Project has gone stronger
Since our hit song, ‘Lo rile‘ came on the scene five years ago, we have been going from strength to strength just as the Nigerian music industry has been. The business has just been improving from time to time. X-project has been together since 2000. That is 13 years ago. Though we used to be three, the other guy left us and we have bonded together more because we believe in the project.
The third guy, Majid, left us in 2011. As regards making a lot of money from Lorile, we thank God, we cannot complain. We have been performing shows in and outside the country though we didn’t make noise about it. We have been able to do stuffs but we would have wanted to make more money then. Our album should come out end of this year or early next year but we just want to drop singles now before the album
Relationship with our female fans
On his personality, SAAL says, he’s a very quiet person and reserved. “I am highly disciplined and hardly make friends. But when I make friends, I owe them. I’m a very observant person. (But you party hard? Our correspondent enquired).  As an artiste, you have to party hard because that’s our business. If you don’t party, you won’t get anything. Going to clubs even helps you as an artiste. You need to look like it and network with people. Our own business has to do with clubbing, meeting girls. Ladies indeed are the ingredients of their business business like maggi and soup. So, how do you draw the line? If our female fans want to take it further, I draw the line. I am that kind of person that cannot pretend. If it is business, it is business. But if I notice that you want to take it beyond the normal friendship, I draw the line.
SLEZ, the hard looking guy among the two says that in everything you have to look diplomatic about it because they are your fans. Though they want to cross the line, you have to make them feel that they are the best thing that ever happened to you. So, we have to deal with them nicely. We have a lot of them but we know how to handle them. You can’t judge a man by his facial appearance because you see me with a Goatie or a Man-United jersey doesn’t mean that I can play football. When you come close to the person, you know better. So, same thing about me. You might be thinking that I am the hardest guy. That is how life is. But truly, I am the kind of person that likes mingling with people. I like pushing around people. I like sitting down where things are happening.
Great moments
Thirteen years down the line, the high point for us was when we were nominated for KORA awards in 2009 alongside P-Square and Tu Face Idibia, Asa and Sasha. Though we didn’t win it, we were elated at being nominated which was a big thing. Now, we want to win a KORA and take it further, they submitted.  With the industry bubbling with an array of new music stars that are grabbing the moment and making it theirs, the 2nd coming of the X-Project may prove difficult but they don’t share that notion.
We have gone through the difficult moments. We’ve been working on this album for years and with all the singles that we have recorded now, the trend of music and what’s happening now is reflected in our works. In our own way, we’ve passed through that period and its challenges. The question now is, how are we going to blend? The job is done now and the rest is for the hearers of our song to judge us.
Our Success
Lorile was indeed a hit then and we became successful, no doubt. We thank God but we can’t compare that time to now. if Lorile was a now song, X-Project would have been an endorsed artiste. But then, there was money but that aspect of music, the benefit was not in Nigeria then. If Lorile was now, our names would have been on the billboards and everywhere. Most of the artistes that released hits after that time are in money now.
SLEZ says: since when I was 15 years old and in Secondary school, I decided to be a singer. I started thinking that I can sing because I was a strong fan of R. Kelly, Joe and was singing their songs. Someone told me, you have a great voice and I was encouraged and later started singing. Earlier, our parents didn’t support us. “You that are supposed to be in school, you want to be singing about, let me see how you will do it?” they challenged us.
In the beginning, it was hard. Before, you sang for nothing. You sing just to make people feel that you can sing and then you are happy.
SAAL says: At the time, you make your first million, you get so excited. Someone that didn’t use to hold, say N50, 000. Then, he’s given a cheque of N300,000 or N400,000, that excitement. You feel that you have arrived but that moment is the most difficult moment because that is your starting point. You may go back to zero level if you are not able to manage it. For now, music is our main stay and other things connected to it. We sleep, drink music. For our fans, we have been cooking, so it’s time to get to the dinner.
 Most embarrassing moment
SLEZ: Personally, it was a time that I was singing to somebody at the refugee camp in Ogun State. I was reprimanded, “Is that what you want to do? Why can’t you do something else? Your mates are out there doing something else and you are saying you want to sing”. I was so disappointed and wondered why people were thinking like that. But I thank God for now that I have something to show for it.
SAAL: I have a lot of great moments like when we won the best Hip Hop Song of the Year at the Nigeria Music Awards (NMA) 2008 in Imo State. My most memorable moment was when they gave us the award.

Prince William and Kate Middleton hire his former nanny to help care for Prince George

When it came to the incredibly important job of caring for their firstborn, Prince William and Kate Middleton decided to turn to a familiar face. The royal couple have asked William's former nanny, Jessie Webb, to help them look after their ten-week-old son Prince George.

Jessie has been assisting William and Kate at their home in Anglesey, and this week was spotted with the new mum and her son for the first time. As the Duchess made a pit stop at a McDonalds car park to feed her little boy, enroute to Kensington Palace, Jessie was also seen emerging from the car to lend a helping hand.

Jessie was an obvious choice for the position of royal nanny. She cared for both William and Harry when they were children, and was a great comfort to the boys as their parents' marriage broke down.

The Princes continue to feel great affection for the 71-year-old, who has no children of her own, and she was a guest at both William's 21st birthday party and his wedding to Kate in 2011.

Her last royal appointment was caring for Viscount Linley's two children, Patrick (born in 1999) and Margarita (born in 2002), before she retired to an apartment in Kennington, south London.

"She'll be like a safe pair of hands," Ingrid Seward, author of A Century of Royal Children, told People. "That's preferred rather than someone new to it all, someone who'd be terrified of it all."

While William and Kate were adamant they would care for Prince George themselves in those precious first few weeks, the time is right for them to seek some help.

On Thursday, the Duchess will make her highly-anticipated return to the spotlight, as she joins Prince William at the Tusk Conservation Awards; her first official royal engagement since giving birth.

Victoria Beckham and Harper gear up for New York Fashion Week

SEPTEMBER 2013With New York Fashion Week underway, it's all systems go in the Beckham camp as working mum Victoria Beckham gears up to present two collections to the Big Apple style pack.

Though the shows are firmly under wraps, the excited 39-year-old has been sharing some of her preparations with fans.

Victoria teased her Instagram followers with a snap of workmen getting on with the job of setting up her show space. There were no clues as to where the much-anticipated runway show will be, however.

The pop-star turned fashion designer is unveiling her Victoria Beckham line on Sunday and her Victoria, Victoria Beckham collection next Tuesday.

Though she's competing for column inches with pal Marc Jacobs, Monique L'Huillier and Zac Posen – who are also showing during the week-long presentation – the former Spice Girl's runway shows remain amongst the hottest tickets in town.

Mum-of-four Victoria touched down in NY earlier this week with her little girl Harper – possibly Fashion Week's youngest attendee at two years old.

The little girl already has one accessory sorted for the fashion event; Victoria shared a photo of Harper's new 'doggie bag' – a canine-shaped silver bag gifted from British designer Christopher Raeburn.

Another Twitter post included an 'inspiration photo' of lego blocks against a grey wall – leaving fashion bloggers wondering if her new collection will include splashes of colour in her new line.

Simon Cowell says Lauren Silverman is not a gold-digger

SEPTEMBER 2013Simon Cowell has claimed that Lauren Silverman, who is pregnant with the couple's baby boy, is not a gold-digger.

During an interview with Ellen Degeneres Simon, 53, responded to critics who have claimed that US socialite Lauren is only interested in his immense forturne, which is estimated to be around  £61million.

"I obviously can't blame the media - it was kind of what I call a juicy story," said Simon. "But there was a lot of stuff that was said about her, that she trapped me and that she's a gold-digger. It's absolute nonsense.

"She's a great girl," added Simon. "But, like I said, it was awkward because of the circumstances."

Despite the media scrutiny Simon also said that pregnant Lauren is in a "really good place" and that he is looking forward to becoming a dad.

"This is exciting and this is going to be a bit of a nightmare for the next few weeks, because everyone knows it was well documented," Simon told chat show host Ellen. "It [the situation] was kind of uncomfortable, but these things happen and everything is kind of calm now and I'm happy. I'm actually happier than I've ever been."

Simon's comments that Lauren is not a gold-digger come just days after the music mogul revealed that his son will not inherit his multi million pound fortune.

Simon is keen for the little boy to make his own way in life and that he will be donating his money to a good cause.

"I'm going to leave my money to a charity probably — kids and dogs," said Simon in an interview withEsquire magazine. "I don't believe in passing it on from one generation to another."

Man arrested after breaking into Buckingham Palace

SEPTEMBER 2013A man has been arrested for burglary, trespass and criminal damage after breaking into Buckingham Palace. The suspected burglar successfully evaded three levels of security, including scaling the 12 foot fence that surrounds the palace, and was discovered in one of the Palace state rooms at 22:20 on Monday 2 September.

The man's alleged accomplice, who was waiting on the street outside, was also arrested for conspiracy to commit burglary.

The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh were not in the Palace at the time as they are currently on their summer holiday at Balmoral.

Buckingham Palace

While Buckingham Palace has not yet commented on the incident, the Metropolitan Police have released a statement saying that both men have been bailed and that a major security review, involving the Home Office and Scotland Yard, will now be carried out in the wake of the event.

"Both men have been bailed to return to a central London police station and enquiries continue," said a police spokesperson. "A review of the specific circumstances of this incident is being carried out.

"No members of the Royal Family were at Buckingham Palace at the time of the incident."

Monday's incident is the worst breach of security at the Palace since 1982 when unemployed father-of-four Michael Fagan climbed up a drainpipe and broke into the Queen's bedroom.

The Queen, who was in bed at the time, spent 10 minutes speaking to the intruder before he asked for a cigarette which allowed her to call a footman, who called the police.

Buckingham Palace is monitored by CCTV and surrounded by a wall and a fence, both of which are covered in anti-climb devices.

The building is also permanently guarded by armed officers from the Royal and Diplomatic Protection Unit and further members of security are also present within the Palace itself.

‘No marriage is made in heaven’

September 8, 2013

The Edwards
Elizabeth was a 24-year-old secretary, when she married her boss, Olatilewa Edwards, then, a 59-year-old engineer. In this interview, they talk about the staying power of their 25-year-old union
How did you meet?
Olatilewa: Her sister introduced her to me.  I had a secretary who was not doing too well and I complained to her and she told me that she had a sister who worked in Radio Bendel I said I would like to see her if she is efficient and can cope with the pace of work. When she started working with me, she was very efficient and caring, I would not have replaced her with anybody. I found out how much I could get her involved in my business, I decided to make her my companion. When I approached her and she unwillingly accepted.  Our meeting was over 26 years ago and she was about 24 years old while,  I was 59 years old.
Elizabeth: Initially, when I asked about his age, he told me he was over 40 and I was a bit reluctant but I later discovered that he was actually over 50.
Did you not have second thoughts about marrying someone twice your age?
Elizabeth: The truth about it was that when it all actually started, I would say I had plans. I was a very strong advocate of single parenthood and I had people I always looked up to as strong women. One of them was his relative, Julie Coker. Because I was in the media, I knew her as well as Grace Egbagbe. One day, I came to work and met him standing on the doorway. The first thing he said was, ‘I want to marry you.’ I thought he was joking but when I got back home, I discussed his proposal with my sister and she said it was okay. Two years into the marriage, I was not really serious about it but then, I gave my life to Christ later and my perception about marriage changed.  From that moment, I started seeing him like the man I truly wanted to spend the rest of my life with.
At that age, was she your first wife or you had been married before?
Olatilewa: I had been married before. I was married while in England and I had children. The marriage was okay but somehow, my wife passed on.
How did his children react to your entry into their lives as a new mom?
Elizabeth: I grew up in a polygamous home with a very wonderful step mother. I adopted his children as mine, seeing it as an opportunity to give them what I enjoyed while growing up. My step mother was a very wonderful woman and you could never tell the difference between her children and my mother’s.
Getting married to a young woman of that age, did you have any kind of apprehension?
Olatilewa: I was too busy with my job to be thinking about what was going to come after the marriage.  I am an engineer and at the time, I   believed I would attain whatever I wanted to attain in life once I remained focussed. She fitted in very well, having worked as my secretary; she knew the kind of job I was doing.   I believed I should create industries and provide employment for people. I went to England at a very young age and because of that, my expectations were high, I was always working until I almost broke down before I decided to slow down.  I believe that the best thing in marriage is to have infinite trust in your partner. You don’t start nursing regrets for every situation, if you start saying that you are disappointed, then you are not serious with marriage.  Also, one should stop complaining. I accept my wife and I see any fault in her as a step to correct and move on. There is never a better person anywhere in the world; it is what you make out of your life and your wife’s life.
Age and maturity have also contributed a lot to the success of the marriage. When I was younger, I did not tolerate mistakes because I am a perfectionist.
How were you able to make the transition from secretary to wife?
Elizabeth:  I just adjusted. We were still working together, nothing changed apart from the fact that the children now came into the picture and there was divided attention. But we understood ourselves and   we were able to strike a balance between the job and the family.  I did not have any issue; I know that at the early stage it was not easy, at times he would complain and say we were not doing some things well but two years into the marriage, when I became a Christian, if challenges arose, I would go to God in prayers.
Did you at a point have to remind him that you are now a wife and not a secretary anymore?
Elizabeth: Yes. That was when the baby came, I brought in somebody to help around the house but because he was used to the way I worked, he would still complain about things that were not done properly but somehow we were able to weather the storm.
How you were able to make the switch from boss to husband?
Olatilewa:  That role of a boss has never actually left me. Till date, I still play the role of a boss and combine the two roles together. Sometimes, she would tell me, ‘I am your wife, I am not that your secretary.’ But as we grew older, everything got sorted out. I will advise men to let their wives be if they have passions for certain things. She became a born again Christian and I did not interfere with her life. I think understanding individuals helps a lot. Also, people should stop complaining about the short comings of their partners.
It has been 25 years, what has the experience been like?
Olatilewa: It has been good, it has been wonderful, of course I would not say that there were no problems but understanding and the help of God has helped a lot.
Elizabeth: The marriage has been the work of God’s mercy because some women my age must have been divorced twice or thrice, but the grace and mercy of God has actually kept us together these past 25 years. No marriage is made in heaven, it depends on the couple. We have never had issues that family members know about. As a Christian, I have learnt that your family members or friends must never know what is going on in your home.

My wife is funnier than I am — Victor Osuagwu

SEPTEMBER 8, 2013

The Osuagwus
Actor and comedian, Victor Osuagwu, met Roseline when she was in her third year in junior secondary school! The couple share the experiences of their eight-year-old marriage
How did you meet?
Roseline: We met as far back as 1990. He had enrolled at the School of Basic Studies in Choba, my maternal home town, where the University of Port Harcourt is situated.  I was living in my father’s house in another area but anytime I visited my relatives, I would see him. The first day I visited, he saw me and said he was going to marry me.  I thought he was joking but he started treating me like his younger sister.  Then, I was in Junior Secondary School 3. He helped cut my hair and wash my uniform.
Victor:  I was in the University of Port Harcourt when I met a little girl who was still in the secondary school. Since she was still at a tender age, I decided to allow her grow to a point when I could marry her.
How long did you date before you got married?
Roseline:  If we calculate the period of courtship and marriage, we have been together for 20 years.
Victor: We courted for almost nine years before we started thinking about marriage. I officially married her in 2002.
How has the journey in matrimony been?
Roseline:  It has been beautiful. We share things in common and he does not hide anything from me. I don’t hide things from him too because we grew up together.
Victor:   It has been a happy marriage and we have not shouted at each other once. Though we have had our ups and downs, we are doing very well.
Being an actor and comedian, are there occasions you don’t know whether to take your husband serious or not?
Roseline:  I understand him well and know when he is serious and when he is not.
Do you laugh at his jokes?
Roseline: Yes. He makes me laugh.  Besides, in the house, we are all comedians. After my secondary school, he urged me to pursue a diploma in Theatre Arts while I awaited my JAMB result.  After I gained admission, I switched over to Political Science and Administrative Studies.
Do you ever quarrel?
Roseline: No, you can’t see us quarrel.
If you are angry with him, what do you do?
Roseline: If I am angry with him for any reason, I will point it out to him. I will tell him that I don’t like what he did and if he is at fault, he would apologise.  I don’t have issues with him in the area of fidelity because he is not a womaniser. He does not know if another woman exists besides me, but he could make other mistakes. I talk to him like a brother and we understand each other very well. We don’t quarrel.  People in our neighbourhood are always amazed at our union.  Couples come to me seeking tips on how to have a successful marriage.
Victor: We don’t even quarrel. I beg her every time to accept to quarrel with me, even if it is once. Truth is, if I entertain people and make them happy, there is no reason why I should make my own family unhappy.   I have even injected my comedy traits into her so much so that she cracks jokes more than I do. I see her as a special creation. I don’t make her angry and if I do, it is like making my mother angry.
How do you hang out as a couple?
Roseline: We sometimes go out to spend time alone or stay in our room when we are at home. Then, we would tell the children that they should give us space because this is the time for mummy and daddy.
Victor: Sometimes, I take her out and sometimes, we travel abroad. I am making plans to take her to the United States on our next vacation.  This is the magic I use to keep the marriage going — I treat her well and make her feel like she is a sweet girl. There is no other way to celebrate a woman than to let her know that she is still as sweet as she was when you first met her. Let her understand that she is still a brand new woman for you even if she has given birth to children. Once that is done, your home will always be in a very good order. Some men find it difficult to even take their wives out. I believe you should take your wife out. This is because she will feel good and her love for you will be renewed.
How do you cope when his work takes him away for a very long time?
Roseline: At such times, what I do is to pray for him. I will gather the children and we will pray for God’s protection and that God should make a way for him.  We know that he is a humble man, not the type who would go away, leaving the wife to wonder where her husband is.  When he travels, he can call more than 10 times a day. He would inform me before leaving wherever he is, then as the journey progresses, whichever point he gets to, he would call to tell me where he is.
Do you operate a joint account?
Roseline: No, we don’t operate a joint account.  He has his own account and I have mine but our money is spent together. If he is going to withdraw money, he will let me know and once he brings the money, we would plan on how to spend it for the family and other needs at home. Also, he reserves aside a portion for specific purposes.
How have you affected each other’s lives?
Roseline:  God has favoured me and my husband, to the extent that if he is picking up a job, he would call me and inform me about the job and the amount they are willing to pay. I will advise him to accept the job after calculating his transportation and other expenses.  I am always happy and  have a relaxed mind.    If somebody makes him angry, he would seek my advice before reacting. Once he calls me to complain, I ask him to calm down and advise him to be cautious and not fight cases in court. He should not have enemies. He cannot do without my advice because he knows I proffer the right advice to him.
Victor:  She makes me have a sense of responsibility. No matter my work outside, I always remember my home and family. I always want to go back home and kiss my wife.  My wife and children are always there to pray for me.

Kourtney Kardashian parties the night away with her girly 'squad'

Kourtney Kardashian, the older sister of Kim Kardashian and Khloé Kardashian, hosted a girly night out in Las Vegas to celebrate the American Labour Day holiday.

The reality TV star, 34, looked ready to party the night away in a form-fitting black jumpsuit with a plunging neckline. She jazzed up her dark ensemble with gold studded earrings, matching thick bangles and a rectangular, lucite clutch. Kourtney wore her brunette locks down, styled to one side.

The mother-of-two, who is in a long-term relationship with the father of her children Scott Disick, was clearly enjoying her night off with her "squad".

Kourtney took to Twitter to document the girls' celebrations in Sin City. The friends prepared for their night out with a luxury spa session and took group photos relaxing in robes and sipping champagne.

"Squad ready. #viva #las #vegas," wrote Kourtney, alongside a photo of the girls dressed in black and ready to take on the night.

The group then headed out to the club by limo and continued snapping away. "70s limo ride," she tweeted, followed by "Vegas get ready" and "Up in tha club!"

Earlier in the day Kourtney made a special appearance at her family's celebrity boutique shop, Kardashian Khaos. The eldest of the Kardashian sisters once again turned heads in a glitzy gold mini dress that was bejewelled with different coloured gemstones.

Meanwhile, her three-year-old son Mason and thirteen-month-old daughter Penelope were in safe hands with their grandmother Kris Jenner in Malibu.

Nigerian Music Stars Coasting High

This is the second half of the year and several music stars are increasing the tempo to ensure they end the year on a good ‘musical’ note. Some started fairly good at the beginning of the year; some started quite poorly while some have been going stronger by the day. In all, 2013 must end well for them as OLUSOLA OLUJIDE AYODELE unveils
Olamide
Badoo, as he is popularly referred to, has risen very fast to become one of the most sought after Hip-Hop artistes in Nigeria. He has been dropping hits from the beginning of the year till now. First was a monster hit which created a lot euphoria and esctascy with fans. The song generated so much on the airwave that telecomms giants, Etisalat, used it for one of their adverts. The song equally popularised some slangs such as ‘Are you a learner?’ He featured the energetic Koko master, D’banj, on the remix of the song.
However, he didn’t drop his guard with that song, feeling he has achieved. He went further and gave his teeming fans more reasons to swam all over him. He dropped more songs such as ‘Durosoke’ On Sunday July 14, 2013; Olamide was recognised as the best rap artiste of the year. It is an award given to him by City People Entertainment. Olamide is one of the most sought after artistes in Nigeria and he commands a fee of a million naira to feature in any music.

P-square
Peter and Paul Okoye have been in the game for years. They have been able to remain in the minds of their fans simply because they keep churning out excellent music with lovely beats. They really studied what fans want and can’t simply decide to fail to keep fans asking for more. They came onto the scene with songs like Bizzy Body and have never looked back. In  fact, the very first song ever from them was Igbedu before releasing Bizzy Body. Despite the controversies surrounding them regarding their music which critics say are modelled on western music, they have never failed to reveal that the legandary Micheal Jackson is their inspiration and have won so many awards. Their latest single ‘Personally’ was dedicated to the memory of the icon. An album was released this year called ‘The Greatest Hits’. The album is composed of “No One Like You”, “Do Me”, “Chop My Money”, “Beautiful Onyinye”, “E No Easy”, “Danger”, “Ifunanya”, “Temptation”, and “Bizzy Body”. It also includes one new song entitled “Alingo”.
Wizkid
The 2013 City People Nigeria/Ghana Entertainment Awards Musician of the Year (Male), Wizkid is never far away from limelight. From the beginning of the year till now, Wizkid whose real name is Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun and also known with stage names Star Boy, The Pop Prince of Africa, Wizzy has worked with lots of acts, within the country as well as foreign acts. His first album, ‘Superstar’ was released in 2011 and is currently working on releasing a mix tape this year. However, he has been dropping hit singles like Jaiye Jaiye featuring Femi Kuti; ‘Beat of life (Samba) which won the Hottest Single of the Year from the Nigerian Entertainment Awards. He has been featured in several songs and more notably is the song with Nigerian American act, Wale Drop. According to Starboy himself, history is about to be made when he drops his sophomore album with the legendary King Sunny Ade on it. The fans are expectantly waiting for the album. Moreso with KSA featuring in the album and the successful collabo with Femi Kuti.
Iyanya
The ‘Sexy Mama’ crooner simply knows how to keep it going musically. His star began to shine and blossom when he won the 2008 MTN project fame. He hasn’t looked back since then. After winning MTN’s Project Fame, Iyanya recorded his debut album, ‘My Story’. The album showed Iyanya’s versatility as an R&B artiste. Sadly, the album was a commercial failure but that didn’t dampen his spirits. He looked inwards and saw that people loved Etighi dance (a kind of dance from his native Calabar) and decided to popularise it. This was how the monster hit Kukere came into being. It was a global success. ‘Ur waist’ was next. Iyanya vs. Desire is the second album released on February 6, 2013, by Made Man Music Group. The 19 track album also featured collaboration from M.I, Wizkid, D’banj, Emma Nyra, Tiwa Savage, Flavour, N’abania, May D, Tekno, and Yung L. One thing is certain, before the year runs out, more singles will be out and keep his fans dancing, whining all the way.
Davido
What else can be said about Davido whose real name is David Adeleke, other than that he is just ‘too good’ to be ignored. He has proven many times that he is not a fluke by continually dropping singles and producing very ‘clean’ videos. Despite being relatively young in the music industry, his impact is being felt and it’s so huge. As a versatile artiste, Davido is able to adapt to any beat produced by other producers. Just like his contemporaries, Davido has been featured by other artistes and this obviously keeps his brand going. Early this year, he released ‘Gobe’ which was and is still a club hit. He didn’t stop there, rather, went ahead to drop another single ‘One of a kind’ which is currently making waves.
Ice prince
Panshak Henry Zamani’s journey into music professionally started in 2004 when he released his debut album ‘Extraordinary’ and he hasn’t looked back since then. In 2010, ‘Oleku’ was released and at this point, his music career grew in bounds. This, in particular, actually opened up his way to ‘superstardom’. He has garnered so many awards in recent times with the 2013 BET International Act (Africa) and 2013 Eggman Best Musician being the latest awards in his cabinet. He has performed in shows across the world. He was the main act at the party of the just concluded Big Brother Africa 8. From 2012 till date, he has released several singles such as Aboki, VIP, More, Aboki remix. However, the four songs are expected to feature on his upcoming studio album, ‘Fire Of Zamani’, due for a September 7, 2013 release.
Wande Coal
Wande, like most great musicians, started singing in the teenage choir in his church. He got his break in the Nigerian entertainment industry as a dancer. While with the disbanded Mohits records, he played a major role in the released CV (Curriculum vitae) album. His first single of the CV album ‘Ololufe’ has been described as one of the greatest love songs ever written by a Nigerian. In 2012, following a fallout between record label Executives, Don Jazzy and D’banj, Wande Coal, Dr SID, D’Prince and Tiwa Savage, signed on to Don Jazzy’s new record label, ‘Mavin Records’ but that didn’t stop him from doing what he knows best – music. This year alone, he released ‘The Kick’ which of course doesn’t need introduction. It was a song that shook the music industry to its foundations. He went ahead and released other songs such as ‘Rotate’ and ‘Kilaju’ which is the latest.
D’banj
Dapo doesn’t need introduction. He has been in the music industry from 2004 and he is waxing stronger every day. He was signed to Mo’hits records before splitting up and ganging up with international act and rapper, Kanye West. He is currently signed under G.O.O.D music. He has garnered so many awards and he is popular internationally with his song ‘Oliver Twist’ which was produced by Don Jazzy. A year doesn’t and can’t go by without him releasing songs and he didn’t disappoint. His singles ‘Don’t tell me nonsense’; ‘for example’ featuring Kay Switch, his brother ; ‘Nous Les Meilleurs (We The Best)” (featuring Fally Ipupa) and “Money On My Mind” (featuring Kay Switch and J.Sol). D’banj is a founder of Koko Foundation for Youth and Peace Development. He is also Nigeria’s first United Nations Youth Ambassador for Peace and he is a brand ambassador to organisations like Bankof Industry. D’banj is a natural charismatic, energetic and infectious performer that can hold his audience captive for as long as he wants. Without a doubt, D’banj is the ‘Koko Master’.
Burna Boy
‘Like To Party’ is a testament that you can catch a hit record without following the typical music format that rules the airwaves in Nigeria. Burna Boy appeared to have come from nowhere after “Like To Party” became an overwhelming hit all over Lagos and most parts of Nigeria. He has been dropping good music since 2011 and finally caught his biggest hit in 2012. Burna then went on to deliver a quality video for not just his first single off the L.I.F.E album but for his other strong and widely accepted singles such as ‘Tonight’ and ‘Run My Race’ which were produced by Aristokrat in-house producer, LeriQ
Banky W
The EME Boss decided to go back into the studio after playing executive role in grooming Wizkid and Skales as solo artistes. Mr W blessed us with two strong singles Yes/No and Good Good Loving and displayed to us the true essence of R&B with his 3rd studio album, R&B which was launched a day after Valentine with a  concert tagged the “The Grand Love Concert” which featured several other artistes including Iyanya, Waje and others. The first two singles from the album “Lowkey” and “Yes/No” (which has a spectacular video to it) are receiving rave reviews.
Tiwa Savage
The soul diva of the Nigerian music industry, Ms. Tiwa Savage, who recently got engaged and scored a well-deserved Pepsi endorsement deal in 2012, remains relevant in the music scene and finally released her highly anticipated debut album, ‘Once Upon A Time’ in 2013. “Eminado” (featuring Don Jazzy) is fast becoming a fan favourite.
KCEE
KCEE, who had dropped two singles ‘Okpekete’ and ‘Give it to Me’ featuring Flavour, which were attempts at scoring a hit single, pleasantly surprised all after Limpopo was released in 2013. He successfully gave fans what will probably end up being one of the top three songs of 2013, and followed it up with his new single ‘Okoso’ which was released recently.
