SOS! Majek Fashek Needs Full Rehabilitation
Has anyone seen the rainmaker and reggae star, Majek Fashek of recent? The dreadlocked icon that was the toast of fans in the late 80s and 90s is in dire need of rehabilitation for him to come back to his burbling self and physique. From what I have seen of the star on two occasions recently, he is not fully healthy and still looks emaciated and worn out. His manager, Hajia Amina Oluremi Dangaji and others should look into Fashek’s ailing condition.
At the COSON Song Awards last Saturday, Majek Fashek made a bold appearance to the venue held at Orienthal Hall, Victoria Island not looking like the star that he really is. Even his colleague and former band mate, Ras Kimono had to ask why they did not dress Majek well to come to this kind of Event. ‘Why didn’t they dress him to come to this event or accompany him? Ras Kimono queried.
The Rain Maker won the COSON Award of the 80s and I am sure anywhere he goes, he still creates the buzz he is known for as a darling star. But we the fans want those in charge of the award winning mega star to help him recover his shape and magic.
At the Marley Day, about three weeks ago, Marley who received a Living Legend Award on two occasions, Mozida A Lounge and Vegas Entertainment outfit was seen smoking at the later’s club while waiting to receive his award.
Majek Fashek relocated from the United States to the country more than two years ago over battle with drugs and 'spiritual problems' according to a source. It is much to be seen how Majek who just released a new album titled Dancing Rasta will regain his fame and magic at shows.
